From the 55 men who answered the call to fight the British in 1775, to the current wars in Iraqi and Afghanistan, our community has a history of community participation in the formation and continuance of American freedoms.

Republicans of Woolwich support the basic principles that -

Individuals, not government, can make the best decisions; all people are entitled to equal rights; and decisions are best made close to home !

Our responsibility is not.

Our elected will become bog down in committees, subcommittees, fund raising, briefings. conferences, hallway meetings, fund raising, caucuses, staff meetings, conferences, hearings, fund raising, floor debates, 5-minute special-order speeches. (which may not extend beyond the 4-hour limit), coordinating public and private bills and private resolutions (as provided in clause 5 of rule XV, under Rule XIII, clause 1(a)).

They will be busy, however, our representatives must hear from us whether they want to or have time for it. We pay them to represent us.

The election is over.
Our involvement is not.
